This carpet is popularly known as Ushak which is Turkish inspired pattern and has been made by the Turkmen weavers in the North of Afghanistan on the request of Turkish dealer to avail the opportunity of low wages labor in Afghanistan. 100% hand spun sheep wool with vegetable dyes using extract of vegetable, fruits, herbs and bark of the various trees has been used in this carpet. This has double knot weaving and is very durable carpet which can be used in high traffic area.
